Peak Performance
Research On Peak Performance Related To NeurOptimal®
Peak performance training is different from typical forms of neurofeedback. Peak performance training emphasizes the optimization and enhancement of brain functioning, unlike most other forms where a person seeks treatment for a clinical problem like anxiety or ADHD-ADD.
When using NeurOptimal for peak performance, it’s about a person reaching their fullest potential for work,in school, or in sports or hobbies. Many adults assume that their brain functioning declines or loses its ability to learn, but peak performance training can help them reach potentials they didn’t know they could achieve!

Neurofeedback and Peak Performers
In her study titled “An Athlete’s Adventure with NeurOptimal®: Peak Performers Benefit from the Use of NeurOptimal®,” researcher Hannie Ruinen followed the training experience of a competitive rower who incorporated NeurOptimal® neurofeedback into his preparation.
The athlete reported greater self-awareness, improved stress resilience, and an enhanced ability to quiet the mind before races. These observations align with growing interest in neurofeedback as a tool to support mental focus, recovery, and emotional regulation in high-performance environments.
