About Susan Gillies
Founder of Good Vibrations Neurofeedback and HeroBrain, a First Responder initiative
Certified Advanced NeurOptimal® Practitioner; Basic Certification Course Instructor and NeurOptimal® Representative
With a background in biochemistry, computer programming, and collaborative research, Susan Gillies brings a unique and grounded perspective to brain wellness. Since 2011, she has focused exclusively on helping others experience greater calm, clarity, and emotional resilience through NeurOptimal® Neurofeedback. Her deep commitment is fueled by the stories she hears daily – people who’ve often tried everything else, and arrive feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, or unsure where to turn. Witnessing their progress, sometimes even within the first few sessions, continues to reaffirm why she does this work. As one client put it:
“It’s as if the fog on a mirror has lifted, leaving me feeling clearer, lighter, and more present.”

Susan has worked with first responders, veterans, athletes, children with autism or ADHD, and everyday individuals seeking support for stress, sleep, anger, focus, and more. She provides whole-body support for brain health and collaborates with occupational therapists, psychologists, and other wellness professionals across Ontario.
Over the years, Susan has also worked with individuals living with multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, memory challenges, and stroke recovery. While NeurOptimal® does not diagnose or treat medical conditions, many clients navigating these experiences have reported feeling calmer, clearer, and more at ease in their daily lives.
At Good Vibrations Neurofeedback, we go beyond offering sessions – we offer support, insight, and a personalized experience rooted in care. Our work has touched many lives, including those on the front lines of service. Here’s what makes us different:
